Knights are called to serve others. Our first principle is Charity – at home with our families and in our communities. When Knights of Columbus members come together, they accomplish great things.
Blood Drives.
We sponsor Blood Drives one Sunday each month in the Parish parking lot on the One Blood Red Bus to support our community blood supply. Our Council’s monthly goal is 14 pints, with a total goal of 90 pints for the Fraternal Year.
Habitat for Humanity.
We support the building of homes for families in need. Each month, out Council meets at the worksite the third Wednesday of the month. We contribute at least 20 hours for each month, with the goal of 200 hours for the Fraternal Year. Our Council spends many hours working on the home has been recognized and thanked for its contributions.
Community Veterans.
We support monthly outreach to our veterans who reside in our local Veterans Nursing Home and seek fellowship from our community. We spend at least one morning each month playing playing BINGO and sharing conversation with our veterans.
Coats for Kids.
We collect outerwear and donations for children who need warm clothing during our cooler months.
Garden Club.
Knights support the Garden Club. We meet the third Saturday of each month to assist in maintaining the Parish grounds.
Social Services.
Knights support the Parish Food Pantry and Like New Thrift Shop. We assist in staffing and obtaining donations for both ministries.
Breakfasts, Coffee and Donuts.
Our Council sponsors several Pancake Breakfasts throughout the year, one Sunday each month. We prepare and serve the meals in the Parish Hall. Knights serve Coffee and Donuts every Sunday after all Masses in the Parish Hall. It provides an opportunity for parishioners to experience fellowship with one another.
